The Jotex mastic melter is a specialist piece of equipment for sealing cracks and expansion joints in road and industrial surfaces. Mastic (high-viscosity modified bitumen) is applied into cracks to prevent water infiltration and the progression of road deterioration. The Jotex big bag melter allows direct melting of bitumen packed in large volume sacks, eliminating manual handling of the product and significantly increasing on-site productivity.

Jotex is also a manufacturer of modified bitumen plants – compact industrial installations enabling the production of polymer-modified bitumen (SBS, EVA) directly on site or in fixed units. Our bitumen emulsion plants have capacities of 10 to 20 tonnes per hour and are ideal for regional and national distributors of bituminous products wishing to produce in situ and reduce logistics costs.
